2. Deed of assignment from designer(s), legalized.

3. Figures or drawings or photos on white background.

4. Description of the design.

5. Copy of priority document, if priority is claimed, certified with English translation.

* Items 3 and 4 must be submitted at the time of filing.

* Documents 1, 2, and 5 may be submitted within 3 months from filing date.

Renewal:

Not possible.

Duration:

10 years from filing date.

Examination:

As to form and novelty.

Applications With Multiple Figures:

Not admissible.

Annuities:

A maintenance fee is due annually on designs and is payable the first 3 months of each calendar year following the year the design application was filed. There is a 3-month grace period for late payment with a surcharge.
